YOUTH MINISTRY
“We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.”

Our desire is not for events and glamour to take center stage but for the Word of God to be the foundation of youth ministry in the life of the local church. We desire for the Word to shape our teaching, prayers, small group discussions, and the vibrant friendships we form in this area of ministry. Our youth ministry age range is from 7th-12th grade.
Additionally, it is our aim to work alongside parents as the primary disciple-makers in the home for the spiritual good of their youth by teaching them God's Word, showing them how to apply it, and helping them to follow Christ during a key stage of their lives.
This summer OBC Youth will be meeting most every other week to study a variety of hymns and explore the theology behind them from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Please note dinner is typically not provided at these gatherings. If you are interested in having your youth participate in our weekly youth midweek, please click the sign-up link below.
